Please include your iPhone model and iOS version. If the problem is with a widget, also tell us which widget and where you placed it. The app's interface is in Turkish; Turkish labels are given below with their meaning.

How do I add the Lock Screen widget?

1. Touch and hold the Lock Screen until the Customize button appears, then tap Customize. If asked, choose Lock Screen.
2. Tap the widget area below the time, or Add Widgets.
3. Find Lexipeek in the list and tap or drag the widget you want:
   • Sıradaki kelime (Next word, rectangular): the word, its first meaning, the Biliyorum (“I know it”) button and the number of cards left.
   • Kalan kartlar (Cards left, circular): how many cards are left today.
4. Tap Done.

Requires iOS 17 or later. If Lexipeek is missing from the list, open the app once, close it and try again. Tapping the Next word widget anywhere other than the button opens the card in the app; Cards left opens the app's Bugün (Today) screen.

How do I add a Home Screen widget?

1. On the Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area until the apps jiggle.
2. Tap Edit in the upper-left corner, then Add Widget. On iOS 17, tap the + button in the upper-left corner.
3. Search for Lexipeek, choose the small or medium size and tap Add Widget.
4. Tap Done.

Both sizes have the Tekrar (“again”) and Biliyorum (“I know it”) buttons, so you can answer without opening the app. The medium size shows the part of speech, the pronunciation and every meaning. A third widget, Quiz, asks the word that is due with three options; you answer on the Home Screen.

The widget is not up to date

The widget refreshes after every answer and at midnight. Answering a card in the app also refreshes the widgets right away. iOS sometimes delays widget updates, more often in Low Power Mode.

• Bugünlük bitti (“Done for today”) means today's cards are finished; the widget shows the next day and your streak.
• Deste seçilmedi (“No deck selected”) means you need to choose at least one deck in the app.

How does review work?

• Every card has two buttons: Biliyorum (“I know it”) and Tekrar (“again”).
• I know it: the word moves up one box. There are five boxes; the word comes back after 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days. A word in the fifth box comes back every 30 days.
• Again: the word goes back to the first box and comes once more the same day, at the end of the queue.
• Order of the day: first the reviews that are due, then new words up to your daily goal, and last the words you marked “again” today.
• If you take a break: no cards are lost; overdue cards come first the next time. Your streak, however, starts again.
• Streak: consecutive days on which you answered at least one card. The day ends at midnight on your phone's clock.
• Learned (öğrenildi): words in the third box or higher. Shown under each deck on the Desteler (Decks) screen.

Changing the daily goal and decks

Daily goal: Ayarlar → Günlük hedef (Settings → Daily goal): 1–20 new words (quick choices 5, 10 or 20 at first launch). Reviews are not counted in this number.

Decks: on the Desteler (Decks) tab, tap a deck and switch “Bu desteyi çalış” (Study this deck) on or off. The same choice is in Ayarlar → Çalışılan desteler (Settings → Decks you study). Reviews of a deck you switch off pause, but its progress is kept; switch it back on to continue where you left off. If you choose more than one deck, new words take turns between them.

Daily reminder

The reminder is off by default. In Ayarlar → Hatırlatıcı (Settings → Reminder), turn on Günlük hatırlatıcı (Daily reminder) and pick a time (20:00 by default); notification permission is requested only then. If there are no reviews or new words that day, no notification comes. If it never arrives, check that notifications are allowed in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Lexipeek.

What does Lexipeek Plus unlock?

Plus unlocks the rest of the B1 deck (B1 Orta, intermediate: its first 100 words are free, the remaining 2,341 need Plus), the B2 deck (B2 Orta-İleri, upper intermediate, 2,752 words) and the academic decks: General, Health, Science and Social (in the app: Akademik: Genel, Sağlık, Fen, Sosyal), 6,061 words in total. B1 has the words of work, school and travel, B2 the words of news, articles and debate, and the academic decks contain words that are frequent in scientific articles. All of them work with the same cards, widgets and review system. The A1 and A2 decks, the first 100 B1 words, widgets, review, the reminder and the share card are free without Plus.

Price: ₺249.99 a year (auto-renewing subscription) or ₺499.99 once (lifetime). There is no free trial and no weekly plan. The Plus screen opens only when you tap a locked deck or open it from Settings.

Restoring purchases

On a new phone or after reinstalling the app, make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account you bought Plus with. Then in Lexipeek, tap Ayarlar → Satın alımları geri yükle (Settings → Restore Purchases); the same button is on the Plus screen. You do not need a separate Lexipeek account.

Cancelling the subscription

1. Open Settings on your iPhone and tap your name.
2. Tap Subscriptions and choose Lexipeek.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription.

To stop the renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. After cancelling, Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Apple's guide: Cancel a subscription from Apple.

When Plus ends, reviews of the B2 and academic decks, and of B1 beyond its first 100 words, pause; your progress is kept. If you get Plus again, you continue where you left off.

Refunds

Apple takes the payment and also handles refund requests. Sign in with your Apple Account at reportaproblem.apple.com to make a request.

What happens to my progress on a new phone?

Lexipeek has no account and no server; your progress is stored only on your phone. There is no sync between devices at the moment. If you set up the new phone from your old phone's backup (iCloud or a computer), your progress comes with it. Deleting the app deletes your progress. Plus is tied to your Apple Account, so you can restore it. Details: Privacy policy.

I found a mistake in a meaning or sentence

Please send us the English word and the deck (for example “wonder, A2”). The Turkish meanings and the sentences written for the app were prepared with the help of AI and then checked, but something may still have slipped through. We check the source and, if we confirm the mistake, fix it in the next update.
