Effective October 14, 2026

In short: Lexipeek is an iPhone app that teaches English words to Turkish speakers. The A1 and A2 decks, the first 100 B1 words, widgets and review are free. Lexipeek Plus is an optional purchase: ₺249.99 a year, or ₺499.99 once. You use the app under Apple's standard license agreement, and it is provided “as is”.

The app and Apple's license

Lexipeek shows new English words every day, brings them back with spaced repetition and shows them in Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets. Its interface is in Turkish. You use the app under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to that agreement and do not replace it. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.

Lexipeek Plus

  • What it unlocks: the B1 and B2 decks (B1 Orta, intermediate; B2 Orta-İleri, upper intermediate) and the academic decks (in the app: Akademik: Genel, Sağlık, Fen, Sosyal; General, Health, Science, Social). Everything that is free stays free.
  • Yearly: ₺249.99, an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Lexipeek → Cancel Subscription. After cancelling, Plus stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Lifetime: ₺499.99, a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
  • There is no free trial and no weekly plan. The price is shown before you buy. Prices are the Turkish App Store prices in Turkish lira; in other countries the App Store shows the local price.
  • Restore: on a new phone or after reinstalling, use Ayarlar → Satın alımları geri yükle (Settings → Restore Purchases) with the same Apple Account.
  • If Plus ends: reviews of the B1, B2 and academic decks pause; your progress is kept.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policy at reportaproblem.apple.com.

About the content

Lexipeek is a tool for studying words. The words, Turkish meanings and example sentences were prepared with care, but we cannot guarantee they are free of mistakes. If you find one, write to support@lexipeek.app. The app does not promise that you will reach a particular level or result.

Lexipeek's content is based on these open sources, each used under its own licence.

  • Tatoeba Most example sentences in the general decks and their Turkish translations. Only sentences under CC BY 2.0 FR or CC0 are used. The number and authors of each sentence are shown under it in the app; tapping the number opens the sentence on tatoeba.org. tatoeba.org · CC BY 2.0 FR · CC0 1.0
  • Written for the app Example sentences for words without a suitable Tatoeba sentence, and for the academic decks, were written for the app. The Turkish meanings and these sentences were prepared with the help of AI and went through two separate checks.

  • arXiv Word selection for the academic decks: word frequencies for science and the social sciences were computed from arXiv abstract metadata, which is available under CC0 1.0. arXiv OAI-PMH, accessed October 13, 2026.
  • PubMed Central (PMC) Word selection for the academic decks: word frequencies for health were computed only from articles under licences that allow commercial use (CC BY, CC0). The General academic deck contains words that are frequent in all three fields. The texts of the academic sources are not included in the app; only the words and their frequencies were used. Read-aloud uses the iPhone's own voice; no recordings are used.

Naming these sources does not mean that their owners (including Tono Laboratory, Tatoeba, Carnegie Mellon University, arXiv, NLM and NIH) endorse or support Lexipeek. The app's code, design and the Lexipeek name are ours; the rights that the open sources give you under their own licences are unaffected.

Warranty and liability

Lexipeek is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Widgets and notifications are shown by iOS and depend on your device and settings; we accept no liability for a word or reminder that appears late or not at all. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell or commercially reproduce the app. You may share the word-card images it creates for personal, non-commercial use. Cards with a Tatoeba sentence show the authors' names on the image; please do not remove them.
